A fourth generation Idahoan, Nancy Harris is a successful businesswoman who started her career as a car saleswoman in Boise and ended it as the owner of a million-dollar business in Caldwell. Her success rests on her willingness to put in the work needed to get results and her skills in working with others to overcome obstacles. Nancy has lived in Middleton, Lewiston, Sandpoint, and Boise as well as four years in Madrid, Spain, seven years in Washington D.C., and two years each in Seattle and Portland. She takes joy in Idaho’s people and scenic wonders–and in the bees, butterflies, and squirrels that visit her garden. Nancy and her husband Richard have been married for 27 years and share a blended family of four children and seven grandchildren. After retiring, Nancy became politically active, working to maintain and improve the quality of life in Idaho. As Idaho’s junior Senator, she will continue to work hard for the benefit of all Idahoans.
Lori has lived and worked in Idaho for over 20 years. She made phone calls for Barack Obama in 2008, and she first knocked on a stranger’s door for Nicole LeFavour’s US Senate campaign in 2012. She has since volunteered on multiple campaigns, and she currently serves as lobbyist and legislative chair for a progressive women’s organization.
Diane grew up in Kuna and Boise Idaho and is a graduate of Boise State with a degree in Criminal Justice and went on to obtain her Paralegal Certification. She was a VISTA volunteer serving in Idaho organizing Welfare Rights groups across the state. Developed and conducted Fair Hearing workshops to train community leaders and agency employees to provide help to people with Welfare, Food Stamps and Free lunch programs problems. In the 70’s she helped organize and demonstrated to stop horrible anti-abortion legislation in the Idaho State Legislature. Served as a NOW lobbyist in this years legislative session.
Mike is a resident of Meridian, Idaho. He honorably retired from the United States Navy in 2012, after serving twenty-years on active duty status. A History major at Holy Names University, he earned Pi Gamma Mu distinction, and was an institutional two-time Lester-Tinnemann Scholarship awardee. He is dedicated towards expanding the scope of the progressive political movement Mountain West.
